IanVince
Ian Vince was born in Brighton in 1964 and has lived almost everywhere – from East Anglia to the Westcountry – ever since. In 2004 he moved from deepest Cornwall to Central London in a successful attempt to turn his life upside-down.
Since arriving in London, he has created the award-winning Department of Social Scrutiny website and its satire format tie-in book, Britain: What A State (Boxtree). He has also worked on a number of print and broadcast commissions including Bremner, Bird and Fortune and contributions for the Idler magazine of which he is now a contributing editor.
He is currently working with Dan Kieran – also represented by Mayer Benham – on two further book projects, developing another one of his own, contributing scripts for a forthcoming Zeppotron comedy sketch show and developing a TV adaptation of Britain: What A State.
