Will Hodgkinson
Will Hodgkinson was born in Newcastle and lives in South London with his wife and two young children. He has written for The Guardian, The Times, Vogue, Mojo, The Idler and Wallpaper and made a documentary for the BBC on Brazil's 60s pop revolution in 2003. He recently picked up a guitar for the first time - at the age of 34 - and spent the next six months frantically practising and getting lessons from guitar legends in order to perform his first ever gig, which wasn't as disastrous as he had at first imagined. The adventure is documented in Guitar Man, his first book. He is currently learning to write songs for his second book and continues to indulge a lifelong interest in the pop culture of the 60s and 70s.
